November 16, 1999 .... since the start, the construction has been very closely supervised by the Chow Chows in the old kennel.   They greet the workmen each morning as they plug in their power tools at the kennel receptacle.  (The dogs like the builders and most of the subcontractors so far but they did *not* like the men who builtthe forms for the concrete!)  From right to left are Chiva, Heather, Tiger and on the far left are the inquisitive sisters, Claire and Cookie.

The concrete slab in the foreground will be removed and eventually
so will the old fuel tank on the right.
