Mid-February, 2000: siding application in progress. The east side of
the house is already finished. The section of the house in front of the carpenter in
the top photo will have a brick facing. The brick has arrived but no one is sure
when the mason will. Getting the
brick turned out to be more hassle than anticipated. It had been picked out at a
local supplier almost a year ago and we were warned at that time that it should be ordered
at least six weeks in advance. Now we learned that there was a brick shortage and it
might not be available at all. Jim & Robin went on the web, though, and were
able to find a supplier in the area with enough of that style in stock. |
