Lubbock, Texas: West Texas Chow Chow Rescue has several rescued Chows of various ages and colors, including puppies and young adults, in need of adoptive homes. All are spayed/neutered, vet-checked, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm free and have friendly, outgoing dispositions. Transportation to other areas can sometimes be arranged.

Dallas, Texas: The Fund For Animals has a low cost spay/neuter clinic at 4830 Village Fair Drive. Clinic hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Appointments for surgery can be made by calling 214-372-9999. The cost is $25 for neutering a male and $30 for spaying a female, regardless of size.
